Exclusive: Former inmate talks about $3.25M settlement
In his first television interview since a record settlement with the city over jail abuse claims, Jamal Hunter talked about his future plans exclusively with 9Wants to Know. “My lawyers didn’t come out asking for money. We were trying to make reform and get some real justice,” Hunter told 9Wants to Know. “It is important that we listen to every case. That we discern the cases a little bit better.”
