EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining Rathod | Mohamedbhai LLC, Virginia served as a judicial law clerk for two years to the Honorable Philip A. Brimmer of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Virginia started her clerkship shortly after graduating from Columbia Law School in May 2020. While in law school, she was an Executive Editor of the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law and on the executive board for the Environmental Law Society. Virginia also interned with the Queens County District Attorney’s Office where she prosecuted misdemeanor domestic violence cases. Virginia earned distinction in law school as a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Virginia graduated from Colorado College with a Bachelor of Arts in Geology.

Coates et al. v. Adams County, 20-cv-01936 (District of Colorado) — $5+ million jury verdict in 2025, in a First Amendment retaliation case, vindicating employees’ constitutional rights to participate in the political process without retaliation.
Estate of Decedent v. Law Enforcement — $2 million excessive force settlement.
Estate of Decedent v. Law Enforcement — $350,000 excessive force settlement.
Student v. School District — confidential settlement due to school employee grooming and sexually assaulting student.
Resident v. Rehabilitation Facility — confidential settlement due to rehabilitation facility employee grooming and sexually assaulting resident.
Employee v. Fortune 500 Company — confidential settlement due to religious liberty discrimination.
