Omeed is an attorney at Rathod | Mohamedbhai LLC. He vigorously advocates on behalf of people, regardless of race, religion, gender, or other status, who experience abuses of power at the hands of the government, corporations, schools, and other institutions. Specifically, Omeed’s practice focuses on enforcing civil rights and the rights of individuals in the workplace. As written, U.S. laws are supposed to protect every person from all forms of excessive force, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and assault. Omeed’s job is to ensure that these laws really work.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Omeed began his career at one of Colorado’s oldest and largest law firms where he gained invaluable experience on how to litigate the most intricate and difficult civil and criminal cases. That work also gave him a look behind the curtain on big institutions, making him eager and well-prepared to take down those in the wrong.
Omeed earned his J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of Colorado School of Law. While in law school, he published a note in the Natural Resources, Energy & Environmental Law Review recommending that Colorado improve its environmental protections for people injured by corporate misconduct, reached Nationals in the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition, and interned for the Honorable Timothy M. Tymkovich of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Prior to law school, Omeed earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Southwestern University where he worked on various issues in the community, including as an advocate for individuals who recently arrived at the U.S. border and sought asylum.
